Bikaner Technical University (BTU) is a premier state government university established by the Government of Rajasthan to enhance the quality of technical education and promote innovation, research, and entrepreneurship across the region. Located in the vibrant and historically rich city of Bikaner, Rajasthan, BTU serves as a central academic hub for engineering, management, architecture, and applied sciences.
Established in 2017, BTU affiliates more than 90 engineering and management colleges from the western, northern, and eastern regions of Rajasthan, ensuring academic excellence and holistic development among students. The university is committed to providing high-quality education aligned with global standards and technological advancements.
Bikaner Technical University offers 17 undergraduate (UG) and 15 postgraduate (PG) courses in Engineering. The university is affiliated with 42 colleges offering programs in Engineering, Management, Computer Applications, and Architecture across different regions of Rajasthan.
These colleges are located in the regions of Bikaner, Jodhpur, Jaipur (including Sikar, Jhunjhunu, and Alwar), and Ajmer in the state of Rajasthan, India.
Out of the 42 affiliated colleges, 4 are constituent colleges of the university. These are Engineering College Bikaner, Engineering College Ajmer, University College of Engineering and Technology, Bikaner and Women Engineering College, Ajmer
The remaining 38 colleges are private engineering colleges affiliated with BTU, Bikaner.
